Josephine Humber of Rocker dies; services set Friday
Services for Mrs. Josephine Leona Humber, 76, of Rocker, who died Tuesday, will be at 1:30 Friday in the Wayrynen Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Smatla will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Volga, S.D., Dec. 16, 1890. Reared and educated in Seattle, she married Sid Russell in Kent, Wash., in June of 1912. They lived in Victoria, B.C. before moving to Rocker in 1923.
She was a member of the Rocker Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; sons-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. George Keogh and Mr. and Mrs. John Brookbush, both of Rocker, grandchildren George S. Keogh, Butte; Mrs. Donald Galpin, Pullman, Wash., and two great-grandchildren.
