Adaline Breckenridge married Jacob Bishop Jefferis on July 4th 1863. They had three sons Charles, Joseph, Louis and a daughter Flora Ella.
The only census records I have at his time showed her as a domestic in the house of Reese in West Chester Pa, age 17. Her marriage record. and a census record listing family members.
I do not know where she was born,record indicate she was raised near Marshallton Chester county Pa. Her parents names Where Abraham Breckenridge and Rachel Finney Breckenridge Burroughs.I have found records of a Edith Finney having another child in free school with he name Louisa a sister of her mother Rachael FinneyBorn Adaline Breckenridge. Her parents where Abram or Abraham Breckenridge and Rachel Finney. Her mother Rachel Finney married Abraham Breckenridge he died young and she remarried a Robert William Cade.
Adeline 1st married Jacob Bishop Jefferis they had three boys and one girl.

The funeral of Mrs. Adaline Burroughs, who died last week in Philadelphia, was held at Greenmount Cemetery, on Friday, services having been held at her late home. The deceased was a daughter of Abram Breckenridge, a blacksmith, who was killed at Mortonville many years ago, being kicked by a horse he was shoeing. The daughter was born in Marshallton, and was raised by the parents of Jos. B. Smith, of this borough. She was twice married, her first husband being Jacob B. Jefferis, a West Chester printer. Upon his death, she married David Burroughs, of Philadelphia, and he has been deceased thirty-five years. Mrs. Burroughs was a sister of Mrs. Howard A. Wilson, of New and Market Streets, West Chester. She was in her 74th year. She leaves four children: the Rev. Charles C. Jefferies, of Doylestown; Frank V. Jefferies and Lewis Jefferies, of Philadelphia, and one daughter, Mrs. Frederick Hoyle,of Lionville PA. AKA Florence (Fora ) Ella Jefferis Walton.
Florence was raised by a family in Goshen Pa William Franklin Walton and Sidney E Walton. They where Quakers. She name one of her daughter after Sidney Walton.
