Norman Charles Kunkel was born in Cargill, on August 28, 1898 to Joseph Kunkel & Anna Marie Voget (of Greenock, then Brant Twp., Bruce County, Ontario) He moved to Summit, Ohio, USA where he married Henrietta Victoria Taylor, Daughter of Freeman Taylor & Henrietta Elizabeth Deobler (of Greenock Twp., Bruce County, Ontario) on 23rd of February 1925. Henrietta had been a resident since 1924. Together they had one child, a son; Charles Freeman Kunkel born 9th of July 1926 in Akron. Norman died only a year later on August 2, 1926 in Summit, Ohio and was laid to rest with his family in Chepstow. Henrietta although visiting her parents, siblings and extended family lived out the rest of her life in Ohio, having some family in the area. She died in 1974.
