Martha Loretta "Babe" Hodges, 89, of Middletown passed away peacefully at home with her family at her bedside on May 9, 2014.
Loretta was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 31, 1924. She was a graduate of North East High School, North East, MD. Loretta worked at Crothers Brothers Grainery, Middletown, DE 24 years and for Townsends, Inc. until her retirement in 1987.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents Hubbard and Myrtle (Carr) Hodges, her sister Gladys Bouchelle Johnson, her brother James Dean Hodges and her sister Shirley Baker.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th from 10-11 am with service at 11 am at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery.
