Yvonne Thompson, 74, passed away May 5, 2014 in Pensacola, FL. She was a native of New Orleans and a survivor of Katrina. Ms. Thompson is survived by daughter Zina Gillam and son Raymond Thompson.

A Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Monday, May 12, 2014, at Bethel AME Church in Pensacola, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00. She will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Cemetery in New Orleans on Tuesday, May 13, at 1:00 PM.
