Mary Virginia Gray, 85, of Memphis, passed away Thursday May 8, 2014 in Germantown. Mrs. Gray was born May 14, 1928 and was a longtime member of Berclair Baptist Church. She was retired from Central Hardware and was a Volunteer Pink Lady at Methodist North Hospital. Mrs. Gray, the widow of William Bryson Gray, was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Gray, and her great-granddaughter, Emily Carol Black. She is survived by her four children, Jannette Mayes (Stephen), Gary Gray (Debra), Brenda Tomlinson, and Wayne Gray (Gale). She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, two brothers, Gerald Mooneyham and William Mooneyham (Betty), as well as seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, May 12, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. all at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. Interment will follow onsite in Memorial Gardens. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Memphis Funeral Home And Memorial Gardens 3700 N.
