Mrs. Katharine Woodward Wilson, 68, of 3655 SW Ridgewood Road, died Friday at a local nursing home. She was the widow of Sinclair A. Wilson, prominent forest economist who was one of the early promoters of the Hoyt Arboretum.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson were also active in work which resulted in establishment of Forest Park.

Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of William Finch Woodward, former state senator here and one of the owners of an early drug company, Woodward-Clark and Co. She was born in Portland June 18, 1890.

She is survived by four children, Mrs. Monroe Jubitz, Portland; Mrs. Henry W. Howard, Hillsboro, Calif.; William W. Wilson, Eugene, and Edward E. Wilson, Prineville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lord and Miss Eleanor Woodward, Portland; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Committal will be at Riverview Cemetery, with private memorial services for the immediate family later.
