Funeral services for Mr. Joseph A. Deville, 56, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Myrtle Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Deville, a resident of Port Barre, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday at University Medical Center In Lafayette.
Survivors include his wife, Leana Soileau Deville of Ville Platte; a son, Rocky Deville of Breaux Bridge; four daughters, Kay Fontenot of Breaux Bridge, Susie Baquet of Lafayette, Gwen Fontenot of Ville Platte, and Melissa Brown of Monroe; seven sisters, Mrs. Hinckley Duplechain of Eunice, Mrs. Gilbert Billeaudeau and Mrs. Eusebe Fontenot, both of Port Barre, Mrs. J.B. Manuel of Eunice, Mrs. Harold Stout of Opelousas, Mrs. Evelyn Stelly and Mrs. Floyd Joubert, both of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. until time of services on Friday.
Lafond-Ardoin Guardian Chapel on North Main Street in Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
