Gary Beckwith, 6-1/2 year old son of Howard J. and Catherine Carman Beckwith Sr., Gore Road, died Thursday in the Rome Hospital after an illness of 2-1/2 months.
He was born in Rome on September 3, 1958. He was a first grader at Mary H. Parmalee School and a member of St. Joseph's Church, Lee Center.
Surviving with his parents are six sisters, and seven brothers, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Franklin (Josephine) Carman, Holland Patent, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Bert (Carrie) Beckwith, Rome.
