Robert served as a Corporal on F-13A (B-29) #42-93912, 21st Bomber Command, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Merrimack County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on April 22, 1943 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted as being employed as a Machinists apprentice and also as Single, without dependents.

Robert died in the "Line Of Duty" when his F-13 crashed on takeoff from from Harmon Field, Guam during the war.

The F-13A was actually a B-29 outfitted for photo reconnaissance duty.
