Edna C. Pyle, 98, of 21 Granville Ave., Medford, Mass., formerly of Mount Morris, Pa., died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. at Courtyard Nursing Home in Medford.
She was born July 31, 1904, in Monongalia County, daughter of the late Mary Foley Brewer and Perry Brewer.
She was a member of the Fox Chapel in Mount Morris and was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathryn Walsh, of Medford; one son, Wilda E. Pyles, of Rineyville, Ky.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Plummer Brewer, of Blacksville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley E. Pyles, Nov. 11, 1976; a daughter, Violet Shawchuck; one sister, Laura West; and three brothers, Ira Brewer, Arza Brewer and Ellis Brewer.
