She was born April 4, 1929 in Heber City to Earl Thomas Harper and LaVaun Epperson Enger.
Mom spent part of her childhood in Park City before permanently moving to Salt Lake City.
She loved listening to Patsy Cline and Elvis and was fortunate enough to see the King himself perform in Las Vegas in 1969.
Survived by her brother, Jim (Barbara) Harper; step-sister, Edith Sheldon; two daughters, Sharon Dent and Bonnie (Mike) Northrup; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Proceded in death by her parents; brother, Rex; and grandson, Todd.
Following mom's wishes, she was cremated and was interred in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Under the direction of Larkin Mortuary, a graveside memoial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 380 North 1100-1150 East, Salt Lake City.
