Pamela Sue Irwin, age 44, of Bellingham, passed away Thurs., Oct. 3, 2002, in Bellingham. She was born July 3, 1958, in Glendale, CA to Elmer and Bonita Kay (Bushnell) Christner and had been a Whatcom County resident for 20 years. She married John Irwin on June 28, 1997, in Ferndale. Pamela loved her family, fishing, camping, plants, playing her guitar and piano and making others happy. She had a good heart, loved people, listening to Christian music and always wanted to help troubled teens. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Survived by her husband, best friend and pal, John Irwin of the family home two sons, Jeramie and Peter Ayers of Bellingham daughter, Michelle Ayers of Bellingham four grandchildren, Breana, Nolan and Micah Ayers and Christina Babere all of Bellingham parents, Elmer "Chris" & wife Kay Christner of Bellingham two brothers, Tim Christner of Bellingham and Ron Christner of Edmonds three nieces, Megan Manley of Calif., Josephine Christner of Bellingham, Sarah Christner of Edmonds nephew, Ron Christner, Jr. of Edmonds grandmother, Betty June Wise of College Place, WA aunt, Lorna Ranae Wise of College Place, WA and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Tues., Oct. 8, 4-8 pm at Greenacres|Moles Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Wed., Oct. 9, 11:30 am at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 910 N. Forest St., Bellingham with Pastor Michael A. Demma officiating. Burial will be at Greenacres| Moles Cemetery.
