ENID - A celebration of life for Phillip W. Clay, 69, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Oakwood Christian Church, with Rev. Eric Keller officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. today at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The interment will be private. Military honors will be provided by United States Air Force.
Phillip was born March 22, 1943, in Garber, Okla., the son of Clinton and Nina Brown Clay and passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam.
Phillip was united in marriage to Carol Baker May 30, 1964, in Enid, Okla.
He was employed for many years in the farming and also the aircraft industry. Phillip was a member of Oakwood Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; three sons, Ken and wife Donnel of Clearwater, Kan., Don and wife Brenda of Shawnee, Okla., and Rev. Jimmy and wife Jennette of Walnut Grove, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his mother, Nina Clay of Enid; two sisters, Vickie Garrison of Laverne, Okla., and Joyce Houston of Edmond, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, Walnut Grove, Mo., or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division.
