A service was held at 1 p.m. today in the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapels in Salem for Scott M. Franklin, 34, the state sales manager for the past 10 years for United Liquors Ltd. in West Bridgewater. He died Wednesday at home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Lynn, he attended Lynnfield school and Tilton Preparatory Academy in Tilton, N.H., and was a 1982 graduate of UMass-Amherst.
The husband of Cynthia (Goddard) Franklin, he also leaves his parents, Dr. Herbert W. Franklin of Hollywood, Fla., and Joyce (Davidson) Franklin of Brookline, his children, Joshua M. Franklin and Lyndsay M. Franklin, both of Marblehead; a brother, Craig A. Franklin of Topsfield, and his grandmother, Sylvia K. Franklin of Hollywood, Fla.
