He is survived by his wife, Roberta Alene Cook, of the home; two brothers, James E. Cook, of San Antonio, Texas, and Sidney W. Cook, of Arlington, Texas.
Charles spent many years in the service of his country. He was a U.S. Marine during the Korean War. After discharge from the Marines, he worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, The U.S. Border Patrol and U.S. Immigration service, retiring as a Senior Criminal Investigator in 1984.
Funeral services are pending at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
