Jeffrey Duncan passed away May 5th at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix at the age of 70.

He was born November 23, 1943 to Elvis and Hilda Duncan in Albert Lea, MN.

Jeff graduated from Alden High School and joined the Navy in 1963 where he became a submariner. He was honorably discharged in 1967 and went to work for UPS for the next 15 years. He then owned and operated Duke's Bar.

He met and married Sandy in 1982. In 1983, they escaped the cold of Minnesota and moved to Prescott where they bought the Juniper House Restaurant. After 13 years of hard work, they retired and were able to enjoy many years of traveling with friends and Jeff's submarine buddies. Jeff also enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and entertaining for family and friends. He always had a good joke to share. Jeff was also a member of the American Legion Post #6 of Prescott.

Jeff is survived by his wife Sandy; sons Terry and Tom of Red Wing, Minn., James of Tucson, AZ; two brothers Joel (Diane) and John (Sandy) of Alden, Minn.; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Service: 10:00 am to 10:45 am on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Prescott National Cemetery S Overland Rd at Quiet Peace Lane Prescott AZ will be the graveside service for Jeff with military honors.

12:30 pm on Monday, May 12, 2014 at American Legion Post #6 [928-778-6628], 202 S. Pleasant Street Prescott, AZ 86301 will be the Celebration of Life for Jeff.
