Frank E. Whaley
Frank E. Whaley, 84, of Williamstown, died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired carpenter, farmer, roofer and painter. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Pendleton County. His wife, Vernell Kinmon Whaley, died in 1992. Survivors include sons, Charles Whaley of Berry and Bill Whaley of Williamstown; daughters, Wanda Mulligan of Alexandria and Joy Antrobus of Falmouth; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church or the charity of the donor's choice.
