He was an Army veteran of World War II and received two Bronze Service Stars, the Theater Ribbon, World War II Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon and the EAME Theater Ribbon. He was a plumber and a member of the Sand Springs Masonic Lodge No. 475.
Funeral was April 5 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Sand Springs, Okla., with burial at Woodland Memorial Park under the direction of Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home-Riverside Chapel in Sand Springs, Okla.
He is survived by five daughters, four sons, * mother of his children, Virginia of Sand Springs, Okla; three sisters; seven brothers; 30 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
