LEBANON, Va. Robert Carl "Bob" Ireson, 71, joined his parents and two brothers in Heaven Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Holston Valley Medical Center. Bob was born April 1, 1943, a son of the late G.H. Ireson and the late Nell Adams Ireson Bare. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Bill Ireson. Survivors include two daughters, Pam King and Rhonda Bost, both of N.C.; one son, Mickey Ireson, Abingdon, Va.; two step-daughters, Natalie King and Patricia Fields; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Patricia McCrosky; former wife, Dorothy Ireson; step-father, Herbert Bare, Lebanon; one sister, Shirley Goodman, Lebanon; one brother, Rex Ireson and wife, Cindy, Castlewood; sister-in-law, Jean Ireson, Lebanon; caregiver and companion, Joyce Erwin, Dungannon, Va.; also several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give thanks to Aleene Boyd for her kindness and care given to Bob. In respect in keeping Mr. Ireson's wishes there will be no visitation or service.
