Mary Lemasters Sargent
Mary Lemasters Sargent, 57, of Route 7, Hunting Hills, Wadestown, died Saturday, December 31, 1988.
She was born January 22, 1931, in Morgantown. A daughter of the late Charles and Edith Greathouse Lemasters.
She is survived by her husband, William Sargent, Sr; three sons: James Lemasters and Charles LaMottie, both of Morgantown, WV and James Sargent of Cleveland, Ohio, three stepsons: Jess Sargent of Hurricane and Clay Sargent and Ernest Sargent of Kingwood; a daughter, Barbara Nuce of Morgantown, WV, five brothers: Charles Lemasters, Russell Lemasters, Eddie Lemasters, Marion Lemasters and Virgil Lemasters, all of Morgantown; two sisters: Juanita Herbert of Punta Gorda, Florida and Ethel Wilt of Fairview Heights, Illinois; seven grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son and step daughter.
Friends may call at the Owen Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday.
Services will be held in the funeral home at 11 am Tuesday, January 3 with Rev. Thornton L Merrifield and the Rev. Max L Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Cemetery.
