Larry C. Pool, 68, died Sept. 7, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Born Nov. 4, 1935, in Sikeston, son of Lela May (Noyes) McElroy of Sikeston and the late William Clyde Pool.
He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors in addition to his mother include, one daughter, Pamela Ann Morrow of Bakersfield, CA; one brother, Clarence N. Pool of Sikeston, MO; one step-sister, Patricia Ann Happy of Wappapello, MO; four grandsons; three granddaughters; two nephews; and his step-mother, Betty Pool of Sikeston, MO.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Walter.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Tom Bass, former pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with full military rites. Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
