Mary Edna Beyer, age 97, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. She was born in Peshtigo, WI on December 20, 1920 to the late Edward F. and Irene (Bronoel) Kehoe.

She was a lifelong resident of Marinette, WI; attending St. Joseph Grade School and graduating from Marinette High School in 1938.

She married the late Gordon C. Beyer at St. Joseph Catholic Church on July 20, 1946.
They spent over 58 happy years together before he preceded her in death on February 18, 2005. Mary was a devout Catholic all her life and was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Prior to her marriage, Mary worked at Nyland's Store and The Ansul Company.
After her marriage to Gordon, after he returned from serving in World War II, she was a hardworking and devoted stay at home mother to her five children while they were young. As her children got older, she resumed working, first at the Dome Supper Club, then as a receptionist in the office of Dr. Daniel Fast and finally in the office at the Time Warner Cable Company, from which she retired.
She and her husband enjoyed traveling together to such places as Hawaii, Florida and Arizona during their retirement years.

Mary enjoyed many hobbies over the years, including following the Packers, knitting and sewing, ceramics, playing card and games, and especially growing African violets and flower gardening. She was also an excellent cook and baker.
Mary was proud of her Irish heritage and of being able to stay in her own home until she was 93, after which she became a resident of the Renaissance in Marinette and then at the Rennes West Health Center in Peshtigo. In her later years, she greatly missed her siblings and her- many dear friends, having outlived them all.

Mary was always happiest when her children and grandchildren were around. She delighted in going to or hearing about the many activities they were involved in over the years and never forgot a birthday or special day. She was always a loving, caring and supportive presence in their lives and her warmth, wisdom and generosity will be greatly missed by all her family.

Mary is survived by three daughters and a son: Phyllis (John) Barouski of Fond du Lac, Wis; Carol (Dennis) Ouradnik of Green Bay, WI; Edward (Julie) Beyer of Marinette, WI and Ellen Techmeier of Porterfield, WI;
grandchildren: David and Karen Barouski, Amy (Ouradnik) Van De Hey, Deborah (Ouradnik) Garner, Diane Ouradnik, Corey Beyer, Jackie Beyer, Nathan Beyer, Keith Techmeier, Ben Techmeier and a step-grandson, Shannon Techmeier;
six great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law: Fran Wilke and Muriel Gilbert.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth;
a son-in-law, Harold Techmeier;
her siblings and their spouses: Grace Kehoe, Ruth (Bill) Meyer , Edward J. (Joyce Miller) Kehoe, Don (Katie) Kehoe, Ben (Dorothy) Kehoe and Dan Patrick Kehoe.
A number of her husband's siblings and spouses also preceded her in death.

A private family funeral service was held at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
