Aaron was the son of Rutillus Ladner and Mary C. J. Beall Ladner.

Death Claims East Pearl Resident

Aaron Ladner, a resident of the East Pearl Community for about 25 years, died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Acy Hartfield, at 8:45 a. m. Sunday. Mr. Ladner had been in ill health for several months.

Mr. Ladner, a retired farmer, was the son of the late Rutillus and Mary Beall Ladner and was born in the Progress Community of Pearl River County October 31, 1878. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Minnie Rester Ladner, on September 21, 1944. Mr. Ladner, 81 years of age at the time of his death, was a member of the East Pearl Baptist Church.

Survivors of Mr. Ladner are five children, Mrs. W. C. Randolph of Bay St. Louis, Mrs. Dan C. beech of Progress, Mrs. Acy Hartfield of the East Pearl Community, Robert F. Ladner of Poplarville and Hubert Ladner of East Pearl Community; two sisters, Mrs. Z. J. Hayden of Annapolis, Maryland and Mrs. Ottie Williams of Paulsberry, N. J.

Funeral services were held at East Pearl Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev. Jimmie Lee, pastor, and Rev. Jesse Broadus officiating. Burial followed in the Juniper Grove cemetery, with Jenkins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Donald A. Ladner, Robert "Buck" Ladner,Terrell Randolph, Bill Blaylock, Alfred Smith and Oveal Lee. Honorary pallbearers were Marion Howard, Randal Sones, Mack Waldrop, Alfred Wheat, Dwyn Williams, Sollie Rester, Tommie Loftin, Taswell Head, Albert Lee, Monore Lee and Lawrence H. Holliday.
