Scott Douglas Vaughn

November 14, 1959 – March 27, 2014

Scott passed away on March 27, 2014 after a long illness. He was born in Richmond, CA on November 14, 1959. As a boy he loved baseball and played in the boys' Little League team and went on to play baseball for Amador High School as a right fielder. Scott graduated from Amador High school in 1977. After high school Scott worked for Alpha Beta supermarkets as a warehouseman.

He met and lived with his partner, Cynthia Roberts, who lovingly took care of Scott during his illness. They were together for fifteen years.

Scott loved watching his favorite baseball team, the San Francisco Giants, as well as the San Francisco 49ers on television.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Vaughn. He is survived by his father, Bob Vaughn; brother Steve Vaughn (Diane) who live in El Dorado Hills, CA; sister Susan Guglielmo (Mike) who live in Pleasanton, CA; nephews Nick Vaughn, Michael Guglielmo, Matthew Guglielmo and niece, Alexandra Vaughn.

Burial will be in the family plot in the Pleasanton Pioneer cemetery at a later date.
