FROSTPROOF - Arthur M. "Punk" Albritton, 79, of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring due to heart failure.
He was born February 23, 1935 in Frostproof to the late Morgan A. and Lucille Campbell Albritton; and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Arthur was the owner of Arthur Albritton's Garage in Frostproof and he was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, where he served as senior Deacon.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joyce Bullard Albritton; daughters, Debbie A. Brown and husband, John of Frostproof and Kellie A. Wilbanks and husband, Michael of Frostproof; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 00 until 8 00 pm Friday, May 9, 2014 and the funeral services will be held 10 00 am Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof with Rev. Steve Bass and Rev. Michael Arms officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be sent to the Good Shepherd Hospice.
