First Lieutenant Holz was the pilot of
A-26B Invader #41-39463, serving with the
138th Combat Crew Training Squadron.
He was killed in a crash of his twin-engine
bomber, five miles east of Lake Charles Army
Airfield, Louisiana.
Also killed in the accident were:

1LT Murray M. Rich
