Eight Die in Fire Near Glens Falls - Parents and six children Lose lives
Charles Harris 27, who thought he saved his wife, Janet 26 and their children whose ages ranged from six months to 7 yrs died several hours later in a hospital. He had suffered burns over 90 percent of his body. Shortly before he died, Harris asked hospital to call my home and see how everybody is. The Dead Harris, his wife, their children, Pamela 6, Charles Jr 5, Jack 4, Penny 3, George 2 and 6 month old Paula.
