Of Jackson, passed away at Allegiance Health surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the age of 70 years.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James; three children, Dr. Scott Pickett, Tracey (Rich) Abrams and Carmen (Cal) McFate; three grandchildren, Austin "A.J." Abrams, Kyle Jabkiewicz and Becka McFate; two sisters and one brother, Kathy (Jim) Desy, Joyce (Harold) Pickell and Leo (Dorothy) Lammers III; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Beulah Lammers; mother and father-in-law, Nina and Harold Pickett. Sharon was a member of the Women of the Moose, member of Teamsters Retiree Club, Red Hat Society and a life long member of St. John's Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM, with Father James Shaver as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
