Fr. Cornelius Diehl, Benedictine, Dies In North Carolina

The Rev. Cornelius Diehl, 0.5.8. of Belmont Abbey, Belmont, N. C., died November 9 in a Charlotte (N. C.) hospital, following a brief illness. He would have observed the golden anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood next June. Father Cornelius was born in Philadelphia, on June 9.1885, the son of the late William and Catherine Welding Diehl.
