Amandre graduated with honors from the University of Houston and quickly obtained employment with the Exxon Corporation. During her fourteen-year tenure at Exxon, Amandre traveled extensively, promoted repeatedly, and made many a lasting friendship. Often acknowledged for her tenacity in achieving goals and accomplishing whatever mission was placed before her, she was currently serving as an asset portfolio manager. It was at an Exxon Mobil function where Amandre met her fiancé, Joe, who was also a management employee of the company. Having been together for over a year, they were very much in love. The couple had already made extensive plans for a wedding in the spring. Amandre was a devoted Christian and she lived her life with a strong devotion to her faith.
A commonality expressed by the many who knew her was, "that ability she had to relate and respect all people, on an individual basis, regardless of their station in life." She was passionate in her desire to help others and to lead by example. Always happy, she was full of life and known to "brighten" every situation in which she was involved. Amandre is survived by her parents, Marjorie and David Odugbemi of Kent, England; her brother, Jonathan Robson-Odugbemi, and wife, Jennifer, also of Kent; niece and nephew, Daisy and David; and a host of special friends in the Houston area.
