Richard Lee Alexander Age 87, Brownsburg, died May 6, 2014. Born in Conway Springs, Kansas in 1927, he was the son of J. B. and Lena Alexander. They preceded him in death as well as a brother, Calvin Alexander. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Fuller Alexander and granddaughter Jennifer Elise Alexander. He was a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in chemical engineering. He was employed for over 33 years with Spencer Chemical, Gulf Oil and Chevron Chemical Companies working mostly in the petrochemical industries. He was a Navy veteran serving on the USS Midway during WWII. He was survived by children Janet Meegan, Brownsburg, IN, David Alexander, Greensburg, IN, Mary Susan Miller, Plano, TX, Ben Alexander, Tyler, TX, and Stephen Alexander, Tiki Island, TX; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
