Bertha Ann Cox, 78, was born in Arp on April 1, 1936, to George and Louise Luff. She went to her heavenly home on Monday, April 14, 2014. She was at home with all of her family with her.
She married Jack Cox in 1956 and they had a son and a daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louse Luff; and a brother, Milton Luff.
She is survived by her son, Gary and his wife Becky Cox, of Leton, La.; her daughter, Debbie Gilmore, of Whitehouse; four sisters, Mary Lou Laska and Dorothy Haire, of Arp, Barbara Stokes and husband Buddy, of Dardanelle, Ark., Patty Swain and husband Larry, of Van; three grandchildren, Ashleigh Gilmore, Bullard, Brady Cox, of Leton, La., Dustin Gilmore, of Whitehouse; two great-granddaughters, Abby Whitworth and Ava Turza; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Pilgrim Cemetery, Elkhart, with Ross Worley officiating. .
