Miss Mary E. McKenna Is Bride;
Wed to James Britt Donovan in St. Anselm's R. C. Church

Miss Mary Elizabeth McKenna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. McKenna of No. 13 Eighty-third street, was married yesterday morning to James Britt Donovan, son of Dr. and Mrs, John J. Donovan of No. 418 East 139th street, Manhattan, in St. Anselm's R. C. Church, this borough. The Rev. Ignatius W. Cox of Fordham University performed the ceremony, and a reception at Sherry's, Manhattan, followed.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore gown of antique white faille and a tulle veil caught with orange blossoms. She carried a spray of orchids and bouvardia.

Miss Eileen Duffy was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were the Misses Mari Corroon of Garden City, L. I., and Virginia Zaloom of this borough. All wore costumes of blue marquisette and carried bouquets of summer flowers.

John Donovan was best man for his brother. The ushers were
Francis P. Reeves, James J. Beha, Joseph A. Meehan Jr., George J.
Langley Jr., James J. Donovan Jr, and William F. Ryan.

After a trip to Lake Placid, N. Y., the couple will reside at No. 432
East Fifty-eighth street, Manhattan.

The bride attended Marymount Academy and Marymount College.
She is a provisional member of the Junior Guild of Colony House. Mr.
Donovan is a graduate of All Hallows Institute, Fordham College and the Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Harvard Club.
