Albert served as a Technical Sergeant & Engineer / Top Turret Gunner on B-17G #42-31927, 526th Bomber Squadron, 379th Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Merrimack County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on January 15, 1943 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted at being employed as a Semiskilled driller and also as Married.

B-17G #42-31927 was hit by German flak and crashed in Lonlay Le Tesson, southeast of Flers, France during the war.

Albert was "Killed In Action" in this crash.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
