Eugene served as a Technician Fifth Grade, 643rd Tank Destroyer Battalion, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Merrimack County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on March 17, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the manufacture of paper and pulp and also as Married.

Eugene was "Killed In Action" in Germany during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
