who were m. 8 May 1823 at Granville, Mass.
At time of marriage Wm was of Hartland, Hartford Co., Connecticut
Wm was b. Westerly, R.I.; Sophronia was b. West Granville, Mass.

m. Charles A Stetson 1 January 1850 recorded in Chesterfield, Mass. and
also recorded in Brattleboro, Vermont, first marriage for both of them
Frances was residing Granville, Mass.; Charles was residing Chesterfield, Mass.
"Charles Augustus Stetson, b. Jan 2, 1827 in Chesterfield. Charles was son of William Lyman Stetson and Clarissa (Strong) Stetson]; died with friends in NY City in 1897. He married but had no children. Resided in Syracuse, NY and was for 30 years a conductor on the NYC Railroad."
