SHREVEPORT, LA - Services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Bossier, 2810 East Texas, Bossier City, La. for Steven Mark Lindsey, 43, of Shreveport, on Friday, August 9, 1996 at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Dr. Fred Lowery, pastor of First Baptist of Bossier where Steve was a very dedicated member. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Mr. Lindsey entered into rest on Wednesday, August 7, 1996 at Schumpert Medical, Center after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Bossier City and a resident of the Shreveport Bossier City area for most of his life. Mr. Lindsey was a self employed accountant. He was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the church finance committee, involved with the Media Ministry of First Baptist and active with the Children's Camp Associated through the Youth Ministry of the Church.

Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Lindsey. He is sunrived by his wife, Sandra N. Lindsey; his father, Eugene Lindsey and step-mother, Evelyn Lindsey both of Shreveport; three daughters, Shelley Lindsey of Bossier City, Angela Maxey and husband Daniel of Dallas, TX; Jessica Smith and husband Chris of Shreveport; one son, Curt Hamer of Moncks Corner, S.C. Also survived by one brother, Robert E. Lindsey

Pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Daniel Maxey, Donnie Ormond; Wayne Bentley, James Friday and Jerry Pettitt. Honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Roberson, Tommy King and John Williams. Visitation will be at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon
