COLLINS, Kitty L. "Miss Kitty," 87, of Henrico, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014, formerly of Staunton. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Lewis Brown. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra L. Bravo and her husband, Hernan, Linda R. Cameron and Gayle M. Coukos and her husband, Luke; two sisters, Sherry Simantel of Staunton, Va. and Mary Kennelly of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and several grandchildren, nephews, nieces and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Collins was a retired switchboard operator for VEPCO. She was a poem writer and loved music and dancing, her flowers and her pets, especially her dog Molly. The family will receive friends Friday, May 9, 2014, at Blileys-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, where a service will begin at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome.
