Carl E. Fulton, age 86, of Huntington County, died at 7:59 a.m. Tuesday (May 6, 2014) at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday (May 12, 2014) at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (May 13, 2014) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. LuAnn Fulton officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are to Loon Creek Church of the Brethren or Plum Tree United Church of Christ, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN.

Carl was born October 30, 1927 in Huntington County, the son of George C. and Mildred (Updike) Fulton. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1945. He attended Manchester College before serving in the United States Army during WWII. Carl married Alberta M. Lahr on March 20, 1948 in Huntington County. He worked at the K-Mart Distribution Center in Fort Wayne for 37 years as a foreman, and he enjoyed working with his family at Dan's Fish Fry. He was a member of Loon Creek Church of the Brethren and was committed to his family.

Carl is survived by his wife of 66 years - Alberta M. Fulton of Huntington; four sons - Mark A. (Sheila) Fulton of Beaufort, South Carolina, and Paul E. (Beth) Fulton, Daniel W. (Rev. LuAnn) Fulton and John C. (Karen) Fulton, all of Huntington; one stepbrother - John Souers of Huntington; eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents - George C. Fulton and Mildred Fulton Souers, one brother - Robert D. Fulton, and three sisters - Betty J. Weber, Dorotha Cadwallader, and Mary Souers.
