Paul L. Loudermilk, 61, of Helena, passed away on Jan. 2, 2006.

He was born in Great Falls, June 20, 1944, to Wilbur L. and Dorothy R. Loudermilk.

Paul attended schools in Great Falls and Missoula. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1973. He was a longtime resident of Missoula and Helena.

He had endeavors in several small businesses and sales, and he was also a delinquent tax collector for Lewis and Clark County. At the time of his death, he was a Senior Companion volunteer and president of the Eagles Manor Residence Committee.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, telling jokes and socializing. He was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend.

Survivors include daughters, Karina Wilkinson and Nicoli Coulson and four grandchildren; stepsons, Pete Beich, Paul Beich and Dan Beich; nine step-grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Van Horn; sisters, Rae Stockes, Judy Jarrett, Janice Pees and Robin Goss.

Services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. from the Eagle’s Manor. 715 Fee St. in Helena with Pastor Jason Lieberg of the Faith Baptist Church officiating. Military graveside honors will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice or to the Senior Companion Program.
