Peggy Louetta Geary passed away Monday, May 5, 2014. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Reverend Rick Woodward officiating. Interment will be in the Oglesby Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Peggy Louetta Geary was born August 13, 1923 in Bartlesville to George Washington and Louisa (Odle) Hughes. Peggy worked many years as a receptionist for Cities Service Petroleum Co. and was very proud of her Native American Cherokee heritage. She loved dancing, traveling and eating at different restaurants. Peggy enjoyed the quality time spent with her children, grandchildren and extended family. Peggy is survived by her sons; Arthur D. Geary and wife Judith J. of Jay, OK and Boyd D. Geary and wife Linda K. of Bartlesville. She was blessed with four grandchildren; Preston L. Geary and friend Tammy of Broken Arrow, Deena Harris of Shawnee, Tracy and husband Mike Reed of Durant, Denise and husband Brady Marshall of Bartlesville. Beloved great grandchildren; Christian Harris, Kylee, Dawson and Mallory Reed and Braden Marshall, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, George Hughes Jr. and three sisters; Flora Collins, Lahoma Artz and Betty Jean Earley. The family would like to extend a sincere "Thank You" for the care that Peggy received from Dr. Mark Thompson and the staff of 10 tower at Jane Phillips Medical Center.
