Edna Marie Holt of Lot –Mud Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She was 91 years, 8 months, and 11 days of age. She was born on August 22, 1922 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late James Isham Lawson and Senia Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Cleveland Holt and sons, James Archie Holt and Gary Neal Holt. She was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Novella Foley and husband Bill of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Wilma Leach Butcher and husband Sam of Corbin, Kentucky, and Becky Lawson of Williamsburg, Kentucky; one son, Michael Holt of Williamsburg, Kentucky; eighteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren; one brother, Lee Rob Lawson of Williamsburg, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Lot Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
