BEVERLY-- Joseogh D. Accomando, 66, husband of Alice C. ( Mallon) Accomando, died Wed. at Mass. General Hospital, following a long illness.
Born in Beverly, Mass., son of the late Sabino and Sabina (Guiliano) Accomando, he lived in Beverly all his life.
Served on the Beverly Police Dep't. 32 years. He was a
Marine Corp. veteran, serving in WWII and the Korean War.
Surviving him besides his wife, sons, Paul Accomando of Hamilton, a Beverly firefighter; Richard C. Accomando of N.J.; and James L. Accomando of Conn.; a brother, Austin A. Accomando of Calif.; four sisters, Mary T. Accomando of Amesbury; Margaret Foley and Madeline Accomando both of Beverly, and Louise Carty of Ringwood, NJ.; three grandchildren, Katherine, Alyssa and Mary of NJ.
Funeral Mass Saturday at St. Margaret's Church, Beverly Farms. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beverly.
