Served on the Beverly Police Dep't. 32 years. He was a
Marine Corp. veteran, serving in WWII and the Korean War.
Surviving him besides his wife, sons, Paul Accomando of Hamilton, a Beverly firefighter; Richard C. Accomando of N.J.; and James L. Accomando of Conn.; a brother, Austin A. Accomando of Calif.; four sisters, Mary T. Accomando of Amesbury; Margaret Foley and Madeline Accomando both of Beverly, and Louise Carty of Ringwood, NJ.; three grandchildren, Katherine, Alyssa and Mary of NJ.
Funeral Mass Saturday at St. Margaret's Church, Beverly Farms. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beverly.
