Oldest child of Thomas Fred Parish, Sr., and Maude Clara Wright. Father of Gladys L McElveen, Charles, George, Ricky, Robin, Randy, and Jimmy Parrish. Throughout his somewhat nomadic life, he was truly what could be called a 'Jack of all trades' as he performed a number of jobs: naval man, mechanic, gas station owner, carpet cleaner. He was a great socializer and loved to share many stories. He died in Charleston SC, where his oldest son lived, and is buried in the family plot nearby his parents.
