Alice was the 2nd daughter of James H & Martha Tallman. She married Marshall Edgar Lewis an Ellery Dairy Farmer on May 25th, 1895 at the Methodist parsonage in Ashville by Rev. Fred A. Mills. She worked for many years as a substitute Rural Mail Carrier for Bemus Post Office.
