Harry Edward LeFeber, 79, went to be with the Lord and his mother on May 3, 2014 in Marion Rehabilitation Center.

Harry was born in Marion on August 7, 1934 to the late Vernon and Mildred (Hutchison) LeFeber.

Harry was an avid member of Teamsters Union and employed by Commercial Motor Freight for 30 years. He was also employed by Marion Community Schools as a custodian for 10 years. In his free time Harry enjoyed the Indianapolis Colts, Pacers, gardening, water skiing, camping and visiting with friends. He and his wife, JoEllen, took many vacations together. Their favorite destination was going to Hawaii with Willard and Shirley McVay.

Harry was a hardworking, humble man. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife and sweetheart, JoEllen (Thomas) LeFeber, four daughters: Carol (Chuck) Burton, Amanda Glasgow, Tammie LeFeber, Melissa Susan LeFeber, three sons: Scott Gray, Jeff LeFeber, Patrick LeFeber, and one brother: Rev. Vernon G. LeFeber.

Harry was blessed with 14 grandchildren, Lisa Richey, Chris (Tiffany) Foland, Sara Glasgow, Jordan Glasgow, Anna Glasgow, Tawnie Ailes, Amanda Ailes, Shelly Steelman, Michael LeFeber, Stephanie Woods, Jonathon LeFeber, Colby LeFeber, Mason Chenoweth and Danielle Chenoweth, and seven great-grandchildren.

Pastor Ben Gray helped Harry to accept Jesus as his Savior on March 10, 2014. Harry's family is thankful for Pastor Ben and Bill Sparks for their support through this difficult time. Funeral services for Harry will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 S. Washington St., Marion with Pastor Ben Gray officiating.

Harry will be buried in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until services on Thursday, May 8, 2014 in the funeral home.
