Catherine "Kay" Eileen Pearson, 71, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born on July 12, 1942, in Menominee to the late Elmer and Ceceil (Padgett) Whitton.
Catherine graduated from Menominee High School class of 1960.
She married Frank Pearson on January 7, 1961.
Catherine was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She worked at McDonald's Restaurant in Menominee for over 35 years. Catherine enjoyed reading, playing bunko, her dart league and going to the casino with her husband Frank. She was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family especially her precious grandchildren.
Catherine is survived by her loving husband, Frank of over 52 years;
two daughters: Tracy (Tracy) Dougherty of Howell, Mich. and Corrie (David) Boye of Brighton, Mich.;
two sons: Bret (Cathy) Pearson of Appleton, Wis. and Craig (Jackie) Pearson of Kaukauna, Wis;
9 grandchildren including: Eric and Brian Boye; Jenn Dougherty, Jensen and Auden Pearson; and Payton, Logan, Madyson and Courtney Pearson;
one brother, Jerry (Rita) Whitton
and one sister-in-law, Jeannette Whitton, both of Menominee, Mich.;
and many other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Whitton.
Visitation will take place at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 14, 2013, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The Vigil prayer service will begin at 4 p.m. with Deacon Vincent Beckley presiding.
