PLESIA, John Plesia, age 84, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006. He was born August 4, 1922 in Canton, Ohio, to the late Jacob and Anastasia (Ganea) Plesia. Retired from Rockwell International and former owner of Tri-Co Tractor Sales of Westerville. Graduate of Louisville High School and a 1949 graduate of The Ohio State University. Retired Major, U.S. Air Force and Veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Edith (Burkhart) Plesia in 2004, brother George and sister Sylvia. Survived by sisters, Victoria (Robert) Miner of Canton, Oh. and Eugenia Pope of Naples, Fla.; brother, Earl (Nancy) Plesia of O'Fallon, Mo.; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service and Interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Miltonsburg, Ohio, Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11 a.m., Fr. David Gaydosik, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to The American Heart Assn., P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, Oh. 43216-3549. Arrangements by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville, Ohio.
