George R. Snellen, Jr., 58, of New Market died Tuesday at a local hospital. Mr. Snellen was employed by Raytheon. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Snellen of New Market; one son, Tom Snellen of Huntsville; one sister, Cathy Ferguson of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, David Snellen of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and James and Debbie Snellen of Hodgenville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Oakley Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Hammons officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is assisting the family.
